‘If it doesn’t add any value to someone’s life or society, it doesn’t make me happy.’

Mark Goos

Operations manager

Mark lives in Emmen and ran his own business before he started working for CodeGorilla. He developed an app that matches volunteers and businesses. He gained the idea while taking part in a competition for marketing and communication students. Mark also started a political party that focuses on hearing and speaking up for youth. He did some meaningful work, a direction he wishes to continue at Code Gorilla.

He started als Diem’s personal assistant and is now the operations manager. This means he makes sure things run smoothly when it comes to locations, new employees and general processes. He loves his job, because he’s free to do anything and he works with lots of different people. Of course not all the work is fun, but everything is negotiable. His tactic is to get rid of the less fun stuff first. The fact that his work is so valuable, makes a perfect picture.
